Get Out of Jail Free
I hate that I'm even thinking about this stupid bitch, but I hate Paris Hilton and what she stands for so much that I can't just ignore her. Beyond the obvious seething hatred over her special treatment, I have only one suggestion to offer to restore any sense of justice to the situation: if she gets to return to her luxurious home, so do all of the inmates from her cell-block. I don't mean that they should get to return to their respective homes; I mean that they should be able to stay at Hilton's crib.

Preaching to the choir! Rich Barbie is upset that there a real person consequences, pitches a fit, and is restored to amoral glory. Could it get any better? but how can you not pity her. I am sure the ankle bracelet will chafe precious, and they don't come diamond encrusted.
A healthy society MUST have at least a few universally accepted ideals which govern the relationships between individuals and put them into a mutually acceptible framework. In the US, one of those ideals is mentioned prominently near the beginning of one of our founding documents:
"We hold these truths to be self evident: that all men are created equal..."
It doesn't mean that everyone is EQUIVALENT. Obviously, some are taller, smarter, more athletic, etc, than others, and some are less. But it is one of our FOUNDING PRINCIPALS that everyone - EVERYONE - is equal in the eyes of God, and equal before the law.
LETTING THIS WOMAN GO FREE IS ABSOLUTELY PIOSONOUS to our nation. If you are poor, or black, and you see this, how can you HELP but feel rage at the hypocracy?
I'm not even angry at Paris Hilton. Nobody wants to go to jail, and she certainly is within her legal rights to petition for early release. But for the Sherrif's Department to let her free, is a blatant assault upon the fundmental ideals of fairness that our nation needs to thrive.
I hope they find who made this decision, and hang him.
